Hi! We are Don and

We have been
photographing weddings in the
When we were
planning our marriage we wanted to know that we would have pictures. We wanted good pictures and many of them, but
we didn’t want to burden our guests with that chore, and we didn’t want to rely
on them for the high quality images of all the key moments that happen just
when they would be enjoying themselves most.
So we shopped for a pro.
Many
professional photographers charge by the hour.
For weddings, they usually have a price for some number of hours and a
per-hour rate for any excess hours, but it amounts to the same thing. Some professional photographers retain
ownership of the photographs they take, so after you pay them for their time
you still must pay them for the photos.
A few professional photographers even demand “exclusivity” which
prevents anyone else from taking photos.
We wanted a
different approach.. We wanted the
photographer to be vigilant throughout the entire series of events, always
ready to capture the magic moments that pass so quickly and are so easily lost
in the rapid succession of activities.
We wanted good pictures and many of them, but we also wanted the
photographer to fit in to our group. We
wanted him to work unobtrusively.
And we
didn’t want to watch the clock, nor did we want our pictures held for
ransom. We wanted the events to unfold
naturally and easily and for hundreds of good photos to follow naturally and
easily a few days later. And that is
what we now do for other couples.
